On August 05 2026, UNICEF hosted a reception in celebration of the initial financing towards the NCDAP. A sh15.5bn in the FY26/27 budget is no mean feat. It is evidence that strong multi-stakeholder partnerships can yield tremendous results. Partners also walked away with awards for their contribution towards this milestone. More than a celebration, this was a reminder of the work ahead to sustain and build on this great achievement.
